Each step became an exploration of ecosystems both hidden and visible, from the deep roots of ancient forests to the resilient greenery between urban stones. By engaging our senses and creativity—drawing, collecting natural pigments, and observing spontaneous plants—we fostered deeper connections to place, turning everyday landscapes into living stories. Growing Future Stewards of the Land - kick-off of Growing Future Stewards of the Land - kick-off of our new educational cycle! This week marked the beginning of a new Terrae Vivae journey with the students of Istituto Agrario Salvo D’Acquisto — where together we’re discovering that farming can be more than production: it can be regeneration, and a living tool for building a more resilient future for all. In our first participatory meeting, students shared what matters most to them — climate change, economic challenges, pollution, and reducing agricultural inputs.�One of them said it best: “For me, agroecology is the balance between agriculture and the environment.” In the coming months, we will explore how agroecology and land stewardship can become real pathways to address those same challenges — connecting knowledge with care for the land. Through the Terrae Vivae journey, we’re cultivating awareness, responsibility, and care — nurturing the next generation of Earth stewards ready to shape resilient territories.
