Online, Online

After COVID-19, we can return to stressful disconnected lives and climate catastrophe or we can slow down, scale down and rebuild our connections to each other and to the Earth.

On June 21, we’re hosting an online festival of ideas and inspiration in celebration of World Localization Day. The goal? To inspire lasting structural change for the wellbeing of people and planet.

The event will commence at 4pm in Sydney, 4pm in New York and 4pm in London, on June 21 – please check your timezone to see what time it will start for you. Anticipated running time: 3 to 4 hours.

We will be streaming a lively pre-recorded programme of talks, discussions, short films, music and humour involving voices from every corner of the world. Confirmed contributors include acclaimed thinkers and activists like Noam Chomsky and Vandana Shiva and spokespeople from Africa, Asia and South America.

Presenters include: Satish Kumar, Vandana Shiva, Brian Eno, Russell Brand, Helena Norberg-Hodge, Joanna Macy, Charles Eisenstein, Gail Bradbrook, Chris Hedges, Iain McGilchrist, Johann Hari, Alice Waters, Pat McCabe, Alnoor Ladha, Bayo Akomolafe and many more.
