Vandana Shiva, an eco-feminist thinker and activist, reflects on the role that humanity should play in a future conditioned by the ecological, economic, political and social effects of the current climate crisis. According to Vandana Shiva, the current climate crisis is a dilemma that must be resolved collectively. We can choose to continue as before, colonizing nature and humanity, and moving blindly toward the extinction of our species. But we also have the option to look at the future in a different way, assuming a conscious commitment to the Earth to evolve in conjunction with the other species and cultures that inhabit it.
