On May 5, she led a daylong workshop at Sterling College for activists focused on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/sterlingcollege.edu\/course\/strategies-for-social-environmental-justice-insights-from-india\/\">Strategies for Social and Environmental Justice<\/a>.\u201d On Monday, May 6, Dr. Shiva spoke and presented an international <a href=\"\/?p=5657\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pledge for \u201cPoison-Free Food &amp; Farming by 2030\u201d<\/a> to state policymakers and collaborating advocacy organizations <a href=\"https:\/\/sterlingcollege.edu\/news-room\/vandana-shiva-event-in-montpelier-on-may-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in front of the Vermont Statehouse in Montpelier<\/a>. From Vermont, Dr. Shiva proceeded to Massachusetts, where she shared the Pledge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nofamass.org\/events\/vandana-shiva-northeast-earth-journey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in Northampton<\/a> MA on May 6th and to <a href=\"\/?p=8611\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Connecticut<\/a> on May 7th.
